Health is critical to human welfare and human productivity. Conscientious efforts are made to promote and create access to affordable and quality healthcare services at the taluka level, which is not available even in district headquarters. This initiative has impacted and helped people in Shirpur and several other areas near Shirpur.
With the help of community leaders and qualified medical professionals, we established well-equipped primary health centres to provide primary health facilities. Several initiatives have helped treat 17,000+ people from 95 different villages at almost no to negligible costs. Besides this, about 350 annual medical camps are set up for check-ups and treatments for people that hail from 71 villages in and around Shirpur. These camps include eye camps, health check-ups, polio diagnoses, and other medical camps related to kidney, diabetes, and asthma. We also organise awareness camps with experts, such as paediatricians, and gynaecologists that provide special attention to reproductive health.
With numerous eye camps set up to furnish free aid and treatment for eye concerns, Astitva has several cataract patients with proper eye care and has successfully supported 35 cataract surgeries whose patients now enjoy the gift of clear sight.

COVD-19 has been challenging for millions around the world. From personal losses to a shortage of medical supplies, we felt the heat of the pandemic, but these challenges were faced head-on. With Remdesivir sold for as high as rupees 50,000 in the open market, Astitva ensured the same drug was sold for rupees 750. We set up oxygen plants to provide oxygen to critical patients. People were encouraged, and facilities for vaccinations were set up. Taking things a step further, we distributed rations and masks to everyone in need. Thus far, more than 30,000 families have been aided with medicines, vaccination, and other relief measures.
