Brigham Young once said, “When you educate a woman, you educate a generation."
As India still lives in a prevalent patriarchal society, it is our mission to empower the women of our nation so that we live in an equitable society. We intend to work relentlessly to promote a sense of self-worth and the ability to influence social change for herself and others. Throughout the process of empowering women, we created numerous job opportunities, endorsed health care initiatives, and promoted education for girls, transforming women into "Champions of Change."
For change to occur, it is necessary to support gender equality and empower women to rise to the occasion. Women should be encouraged to take their rightful place in society by creating a means to support themselves and their families. Furthermore, every individual, irrespective of gender, should be privy to a platform to discover their true selves.
Part of the journey towards uplifting women is their education and skill development. We set up training centres to equip women with the knowledge and skills they might require to achieve their dreams. Such a level of training and education is crucial in building confidence and self-esteem so that they may shed their inhibitions and touch the sky.
Another part of the journey is the generation of equal opportunities. Through the set-up of cotton mills, textile mills, and other ventures, multiple jobs have been generated for women at Shirpur. The textile mill hosts about 90% of female employees who have been trained and educated, giving them their Astitva.
